Careers: Purchase and inventory coordinator
Harrisburg based security/electronics dealer is seeking a motivated and professional purchasing and inventory coordinator. Our organization has been providing top-level service to Central Pennsylvania and the surrounding area for 36 years, installing and servicing residential and commercial security systems, fire alarms, camera systems, access control, audio/video and other low voltage solutions. Job requirements:
- Finger dexterity to efficiently input on a computer keyboard
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to bend, squat and lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate office equipment such as telephones, computers, copiers, facsimiles and computer printers
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong work ethic
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Setup jobs in operational software
- Create Purchase Orders
- Order equipment for jobs, work orders and inventory
- Receive orders
- Pull and label equipment for jobs and work orders
- Process invoices for purchase orders
- Return wrong, defective and warrantied parts to vendors
- Maintain warehouse and vehicle inventories
- Job cost jobs upon completion
- Maintain vehicle registrations, inspections, maintenance and repairs
- Activate and maintain account log for cellular communicators
- Upload/Download security control panels
- Answer phones and assist customers as necessary
